How much does it cost?  Isn’t it really expensive? 

At Embassy Home Staging, LLC we offer a wide variety of services and options to buyers, tailored to all budgets.  We provide comprehensive pricing plans, depending on the level of service.  From hourly consultations to half or full staging days, we can offer a service that will benefit your needs.   

Staging provides excellent return value on the total selling price of your property.  It is much more cost-effective to bring in a professional home stager than it is to decrease the selling price on your property.

I don’t need a “professional home stager,” I’ll just do it myself……. 

Homeowners are emotionally invested in their homes, and why shouldn’t they be?  They inherit memories, they create memories, and they become part of their living environment.  To successfully stage a property, one must view the living spaces with a critical eye and be detached emotionally to be able to enhance the selling aspects, while at the same time, down-playing the negatives.  Home stagers are trained to take these aspects into consideration, all while being sensitive to the homeowner’s needs and wants.  To get a home sold quickly and efficiently, a home stager is essential.

Can’t homebuyers use their imagination and look past the décor? 

Surprisingly, not very often.  Only 10% of buyers can visualize the potential of a home.  Often it takes training and substantial related skills to be able to acquire this trait.  Hence, the need for a professional home stager.  Many times a potential buyer will walk into a space and their negative opinions are made within 10 minutes or less.  They can’t see past the clutter, the unflattering colors or the lack of space design. 

The housing market is improving – can’t I sell my home without it being staged?

Yes, your house will eventually sell.  But more often than not, it will have gone through a price reduction maybe more than once.  Add to the stress of having your property sit on the market over an extended period of time.  Statistically, is has been proven that staged homes sell quicker and for more $$$ than those that have not been staged.
